Very reminiscent of the Brand X, Passport, Gong, David Sancious stuff. I still listen to a lot of that music. That was some really wonderful musicianship. Hey who is the drummer? I love his sound. PT.

Jerome Chamberland is a very talented drummer. He really plays for the music, I really dig that. Cool odd meter stuff too! Its refreshing to hear musicians working in odd meter pieces. Some of the other bands on that website are very interesting as well. Ah, some much good music and so little time. PT.

No, that is not me playing.
What happened is that their original drummer left for a career change. They had some budget and had the idea to get Paul Brochu to play on the CD. Paul showed interest and had the demos but didn?t seem to find a window in his hectic schedule. After months of waiting for him, they changed their mind. My brother talked to me about it, knowing that it would be hard for me since I live at a 3-hour drive to Mtl and that basically, I don?t have the time to go back and forth for rehearsals and sessions (not to mention shedding the music) now that I?ve switched for another (and quite demanding) career.
My bro then asked to the drummer of his other band if he would be interested.

The guy more than happy to get a break from disco, immersed himself in it and did a very good job.

I?ll tell my bro about your nice comments guys!

BTW, anybody saw/heard of Boogie Wonder Band. It?s a 10-piece neo-disco outfit that has been doing the US casinos for some years now?
